Old-growth redwoods surround the coolest valley edge with forest and coastal undercurrents that define Savoy. One of the most respected names in Anderson Valley, Savoy Vineyard is surrounded by majestic redwood at the tipping point between the Pacific Northwest and the Sonoma Coast.
Savoy lies at the base of the hills and comprises the last knolls as well as the gently sloping terraces below them, which eventually lead to the Navarro River, which flows through part of the Anderson Valley. Rooted in weathered sandstone and sloping terraces near the cooler edge of Anderson Valley, significant diurnal temperature swings bring the nerve and tension we strive for in our wines.
