Coniferous ocean air brings purity and freshness, situated in the most easterly vineyards in Anderson Valley, just 10 miles from the blustery Pacific Coast, where long-eared jackrabbits munch on the cover crop between brilliant golden mustard and bright greens planted annually to feed the soil. Tucked away just off Highway 128 in Boonville, a small town in the heart of the Anderson Valley.

2023 Ferrington Chardonnay
95 Vinous + 94 Wine Spectator | Yellow apple, lemon peel and chalk introduce the 2023 Chardonnay Ferrington Vineyard. It’s a tense, grippy, phenolic wine that announces itself with a confident structure and understated power. White pepper, honeysuckle, green apple and crushed rocks are some of the many nuances that emerge with air. There’s such tension and focus here. What a distinctive reflection of Anderson Valley.
2023 Ferrington Pinot Noir
94 – Vinous | The 2023 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard delivers the savory, dusty, complex terroir signatures of the Anderson Valley in spades. Iron, graphite, gravel and red licorice infuse the palate with a sense of seriousness and depth. It’s not an obvious wine, leaning more cerebral than the other wines here, but I find it so enticing. Spend some time and get to know this one in the glass—it’s constantly evolving.
