From the first vineyard the Sangiacomo family planted in 1969, Green Acres is situated in the cool coastal appellation of Carneros and benefits from rocky, well-drained soils, signature afternoon breezes, and loads of sunshine. Our Green Acres Chardonnay shows off its broad, rich texture, a natural expression from Old Wente, which contrasts with its minerality and a provoking acidity.

94 –  Vinous | The 2023 Chardonnay Green Acres Vineyard Vieux Chene is savory, potent and intensely aromatic. Slight reductive elements flash up from the glass, with a very old-school, Chablisienne character. Seriously textural and beautifully focused, the 2023 is super impressive. Lime pith, oyster shell, green apple and fresh mint tones build nicely through the precise close.
